Previous applicants to the Graduate School and applicants who declined a previous offer of admission must submit a new application. The application fee is required. Applicants, who have been denied admission three times by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, whether by one or more departments, may not file further applications.
Your new application must indicate the year for which your previous application was submitted (for example, if you submitted your application in September, 2015 for the fall 2016 entering class you should list 2016 in response to the “previously applied to…” question in the online application.
The new application must include all required documents:
- Statement of purpose
- Writing samples, if required
- Other credentials to support your application, even if such materials were already included in a prior year application
- Names of recommenders
Your prior year application may be combined with your current year application if it is requested by your program.
