Receive your Yale NetID and PIN to activate your Yale Account

Deadline to respond to offer of admission

On-campus housing application opens. On-campus housing is limited, so plan to apply and choose your room early. Please visit the Yale Graduate Housing website for more information about on-campus graduate housing, including a webinar for the 2022-2023 academic year scheduled for Thursday, April 7 at 11:00 am EST.
May 1 to June 30
Complete online form to get a new Yale student ID card at Orientation. Upload a photo for your Yale ID card on the ID Card Photo Upload web page by June 30. New Student ID cards will be distributed as part of GSAS Orientation Week (ID cards cannot be picked up early)
July 15
Deadline to submit official transcripts to the Graduate School
Deadline for uploading vaccination, immunization, and health history documentation to Yale Health (including COVID-19 vaccination status)
August 1
On-campus Graduate Housing occupancy licenses begin; contact Yale Housing with questions
August 15
Student Health coverage begins
August 16-19
Schedule I-9 verification appointment
Departmental ID pick up - consult your department for more information. If you have a health or transcript hold, you will not be able to pick up your ID. You can check the status of your registration holds through Student Information Systems (SIS).

Deadline to complete three required online trainings in the GSAS New Student Orientation course on Canvas
Deadline to complete University-wide Preventing and Responding to Sexual Misconduct training.

Fall-term online course selection begins. Please consult with your department about course requirements and selections before finalizing your course schedule online.

First stipend payments for new Ph.D. students

Due date for Yale Health Coverage Waivers
Due date for Yale Health Family Member (spouse or children) Enrollment
Health Award Fellowship Information for Ph.D. students with Spouses/Partners and Dependent Children.
Due date to signup for optional Dental and/or Eye Care coverage from outside providers and pay associated premium fees.
