Event description: 

Are you curious about the exciting and innovative work Graduate School students are doing througout campus? Then watch them compete in Yale’s 3-Minute Thesis Championship. 3 Minutes, 1 Slide, their Research.

This competition challenges PhD students from a wide array of disciplines to engagingly and clearly describe their research to a broad audience - in just 3 minutes! Ten finalists will compete for a first prize of $1,200 in front of a panel of judges including:
• Lynn Cooley, GSAS Dean
• Stephen Roach, Senior Fellow at the Jackson Institute and former Chairman of Morgan Stanley Asia
• Devesh Raj, Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Comcast
• Lydia Brown, Senior Producer of the daily WNPR news-talk show, Where We Live.
Plus the graduate school’s student a cappella group Citations will perform, and light refreshments will be served. This event is open to the Yale community. We hope to see you at this fun and inspiring event.
