Meals for Mentoring
The Graduate School’s Meals for Mentoring program is a chance for PhD students and their mentors to talk about research, coursework, career goals, and personal and professional development over a free lunch.
Students can request two Meals for Mentoring per term, each of which provides one meal for the Graduate School student and one for the faculty member. Individual meal swipes will be loaded onto the student’s Yale ID card and provide a free lunch at one of the following locations:
- Café Med (Medical area)
- Steep Café (Science Hill)
- Schwarzman Center Commons (excludes Elm, The Bow Wow, The Well, and Ivy)
- Slifka Center for Jewish Life
- West Campus
- Residential college dining halls (with ID access)
Unused swipes expire at the end of the term.
The Meals for Mentoring application is now closed for the Fall 2023 term. The application for Spring 2024 will open mid-January 2024.
