In this message: Last-minute Commencement reminders
Dear graduate students,
I hope you are looking forward to Commencement this Sunday, May 23 at 10 a.m. By all reports, Old Campus is looking especially beautiful and if the weather holds, we anticipate a lovely ceremony with President Salovey, Provost Strobel, and Professor Iwasaki. As we are just three days away, here are some reminders:
- Tomorrow (Friday, May 21) is the final day to get a COVID test in order to attend Commencement. All attendees, even those who have already been vaccinated, need to have a negative test result before coming to the event. You can schedule an appointment with this link to the screening program.
- Arrive early — gates will open at 9:15 a.m. and close at 9:50 a.m.
- At the moment, very warm weather is predicted. Hydrate before you come, and don’t forget your sunscreen!
- You can enter from Phelps Gate or the High Street Gate, where your id will be checked against the approved attendance list for compliance with health requirements.
I look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning.
