Introducing Emotional Wellbeing Solutions
Eligible Local 33 graduate workers pursuing PhD degrees, their spouses, dependents, and household members are now eligible for up to six free counseling sessions provided through Optum Emotional Wellbeing Solutions. Yale’s Emotional Wellbeing Solutions is part of an employee assistance program and provides Personal Wellness, Financial Wellness, and Worklife benefits and resources to support you every step of the way through life’s important events.
Please note, if you are a Yale Health Plan member, your Behavioral Health benefits through Magellan will remain unchanged.
Personal Wellness offers face-to-face or virtual short-term counseling services, as well as referrals to more extended care. Counselors, clinicians, and other specialists are ready to help you and your family members with the following:
- Relationship, Parenting, and family issues
- Workplace problems or conflicts
- Stress and anxiety
- Child and eldercare support
- Legal, financial, and mediation services
