Diversity Preview Days

As part of the Graduate School's efforts to recruit an exceptional pool of diverse applicants, the Office for Graduate Student Development and Diversity (OGSDD) hosts annual in-person and virtual Preview Days. For the in-person Preview Days, we will bring a selected group of prospective PhD applicants from across different disciplines to New Haven to meet with Yale faculty and current graduate students, learn about the PhD application process, and explore Yale's campus. We will provide accommodation and meals and will cover the cost of travel within the U.S. and U.S. territories. The virtual Diversity Preview Day will take place over Zoom and provide prospective applicants with an opportunity to learn about the graduate school experience, seek advice on your graduate school application materials, and connect with current graduate students.

The in-person 2024 Diversity Preview Days will take place on October 20-22, 2024. The application to participate in this event is now closed.

The virtual 2024 Diversity Preview Day will take place on November 8, 2024, from 12:00-2:30pm EST.
