On October 29, the MacDougal Center was abuzz with activity as the Graduate School’s Alumni Fund hosted Eli Days. This vibrant event aimed to educate current graduate students about the Yale Alumni Fund, the significance of alumni donations on their academic experiences, and their potential to give back as future alumni through philanthropy.

The day was filled with excitement, featuring a button-making station and exclusive swag for attendees. Amidst the creative activities, students crafted heartfelt thank you notes to alumni, while an educational video played in the background, showcasing the profound impact of alumni support. By the event’s conclusion, dozens of gratitude notes had been penned, with one student expressing, “Your support truly makes a difference, helping students like me to reach our potential.” These messages reflect the meaningful connections and the significant impact of alumni contributions on today's graduate students.

The Yale Alumni Fund, part of Yale’s Office of Development, focuses on raising essential unrestricted funds from alumni to address funding gaps not covered by the endowment. Thanks to the generous support of Yale’s Graduate School alumni community, today’s graduate students are empowered to thrive in their academic pursuits and reach new heights.
