Exchange Programs
Our domestic and international exchanges for PhD students are excellent opportunities for you to master course content in another language, learn new methodologies to inform your dissertation, visit library archives and collections to expand your research, and develop your professional network with fellow scholars in the US and abroad.
Domestic and international exchanges
Domestic Exchange Programs
If you are a PhD student who has completed your first year of coursework, you are eligible to participate in an exchange with one of our US-based partner institutions. These exchanges allow you to register to pursue coursework and/or research for one term or an academic year at no additional tuition cost.
International Exchange Programs
The Graduate School maintains exchange agreements with a number of institutions of higher education abroad. If you are a PhD student who has completed the first year of your program, you are eligible to participate in an international exchange with the support of your department or program at no additional tuition cost.
