  • PhD Stipend & Funding

    PhD students at Yale are normally full-funded for a minimum of five years. During that time, our students receive a twelve-month stipend to cover living expenses and a fellowship that covers the full cost of tuition and student healthcare.

  2. Student Employment

    Part-time employment at the university or elsewhere should not conflict with your degree program or interfere with your academic progress. If you seek part-time employment beyond an average of ten hours per week, you must have permission from your director of graduate studies in consultation with the appropriate associate dean of the Graduate School.
